THE SANTA FE OPRY PLAYLIST
Thanks to Laurell for subbing for me on the SF Opry last night so I could go cover the Barack Obama speech. The speech was at Santa Fe Community College, where KSFR also is located. So when Laurell drove out to do the show, she wasn’t able to go into the campus, which was the scene of a huge traffic jam caused by people leaving the Obama event. SHe had to park way out on Richards Avenue. So I appreciate her doing the show even more than usual.

Stephen W. Terrell’s Web Log
Now this is public information, and he wrote it, so I should b e fairly safe.
This though only says a few of the important ingredients of the man. No, I don’t know him well enough to reveal mysterious secrets. In fact many may have read his articles for years and never thought about Steve Turell, never imagined him with a beard, or seen the twinkle in his blue eyes. Afterall he is a reporter.
However if you paid attention to his coverage at the roundhouse, everyone there probably not only knows his fame, they may take him out to lunch too to make sure he has the full scoop….
Now turn on the radio (ksfr ) and a completely different guy shows up. He loves to weave stories about music, you must listen to his different shows and he has a wry sense of humor. Storyteller, man of many facts, and lover of country music too: you can feast on unique Santa Fe programming all over the world. KSFR streams on the web.
