What a weekend!

img_3565a.jpgimg_3093c.jpgimg_3589.JPGGood day world. Many of you probably listened to live earth or reports about it this weekend. If you need to hear more, read related articles, or learn more about what you can do: go to www.liveearth.com . Are you fired up about being a member of an action group? Visit www.Moveon.org.

I had to work and didn’t get to hear a lot, since they kept turning down the radio in the health food store that I work in. However after work I went to a party where I could have watched liveearth concert, but I needed a place to sit and eath the terrific potluck food and joined a group of seasoned seniors who all were political activists. They took awhile to move to more positive conversations. We also watched a politico video later. I didn’t do enough netwroking.

So today I went to visit a friend and received many plants to transplant and the we talked until mid afternoon. By the way she is an artist from Santa Fe NM.

I got home, quicly planted the plants in very hot sun. By the time I was done swaet was rolling down my face. I had time to shower and change and I was off to a memorial service in rose park Santa Fe NM. As it was late I had to go to Trader Joe’s health food store to pick up some sushi for the potluck. Got to the park early and started talking to friends as people arrived. It was an informal sevice, and I cried more than I wanted. I’d probably make a good professional wailer. But let’s not go there. It was wonderful to spend 3 hours there, outside as the aearth cooled with friends. It rained very briefly but stopped before the service began. Someone invited a bagpipe player which pulled the whoe thing together.

Later a small band with guitar and congo and bongo drums came and played nearby. Public park: great music.

Si I checked soome e-mails when I got home and a friend forwarded a meesage to listen to Shirley Yates on You Tube. I clicked her sight www.firethegrid.org ot www.firethe grid.com first.

She has albums and much more. If you want to help the earth begin healing, meditate for 1 hour 7/17/07. Read more for details and tell your friends. Visit YouTube or her site.

Imagine a billion or more people on 7/7/07 focusing energy on music and saving our planet! Super. Catch that wave and work toward change now!

Thanks,

Mary MacIntyre
