Very long night….

I could easily drift off to sleep right now. It’s ben a long evening. I had some work to do and ran into technical difficulties! So I will keep it short (ha!) I went to 2 movies tonight and it was well worth the $$$. Dinner equalled popcorn. However the first movie was the GREAT DEBATERS. I love history and grew up during the Civil Rights era. The movie had great characters, good script, and reminded me of what sometimes we forget.

The movie was inspirational. I tried thinking of a corrollary for the illegal immigrants and the vast changes effecting our country now but couldn’t quite make the dots connect. However I KNOW to observe my own difficulties, and seek compassion for all humans. I think of the phrase “the time to act is now. The time for justice for all races is now.

I also thought of the tragedy of race on race murders. Black on Black all over the world, brown on brown gang violence. For me there is seldom justification for violence. Kids killing kids: so many good lives wasted. I’d rather see more peopple gather together to create harmony, alliances, and civil rights justice. Hate too often begets hate. When will we ever learn? When will we ever learn?

There is a race to save the earth, what about saving each other too? (Including women too.)

The second movie was the Golden Compass. It was full with fantasy fun and fine special effects. Rich visually with a great plot. Too bad there had to be clashing head busting violence there too, ’tis the male dominated theatrical necessity I guess, still entertaining and the young girl was spectacular. A sequil would be good, otherwise, I might have to read the books!

The break of routine was good, and I had to come home to catch up on some work. Suddenly my energy dropped and low and behold I must get some sleep.

Just a few thought to consider for an immense, and unfortunately continued struggle (a few thousand years) for humanity. Peace grow within you. Stand tall.
