Ok now that’s there a little color I can begin. I thought I was going to write about film making in New Mexico, but to distill what’s going on (there is so much happening), was too much for me this morning. I decided to take another twist. Have you picked up the ablurquerque Arts this month of June? It’s fantastic.

I must admit, that I have so much going on normally that I haven’t perused it in a long time.
If you want to get involved in the film industry there’s a terrific section publizing: classes and workshops for just about any skill you’d need. Wondering how to get started: pick up June’s issue and also contact Santa Fe Community College which has an intensive training in film.

Want to know about one of my fav singers who’ll be in Santa Fe NM on Friday June 22 at 7 PM? Yes you guessed it Live at the Paola (1501 Cerrillos Rd): JOAN ARMATRADING. I’ll talk more later and with her will be Elvis Perkins. www.TicketSantaFe.org She’s a powerhouse and you won’t want to miss this performance. After the show go down Guadalupe St and you may still find live music at a few cafes.

Everyone knows about the famous Santa Fe Opera. However much closer to home for 3 nights there’s Carnival In Venice. Plus there will be a first act: by The Four Seasons Project a creation by local dance companies. Get the deatails at www.pasticcioproductions.com .
It’ll be June 29-30 July 1 at Sandia Prep Theatre Arts.
