#1: SUPPORT FREE PRESS
#2: Support FIVE magazine and NEW MEXICAN WOMAN

Yes this includes advertising and telling advertizers that you appreciate their support. Five is one of the most exciting new magazines (local) that I’ve read. However this month the issue is short and sweet. Go READ THEM and eat local. If you are endowed, or an extremely generous entrpreneur send financial resources to boost this mag’s longevity. If you wantNew Mexicans to have access to more environmental news and eco issue ideas: send $$$. Also advertize!

Quirky, fun, light, and straightforward. These ladies are terrfic, direct, and they’ve got a llifestyle message for the eco conscious world. www.thedittybops.com, a must see innovative website.

Of course, if you go to www.readfive.com, there’s an article too. www.youandisavetheworld.com (the dittybops’ othersite)

Justin Townes Earl in another trail blzing youn musician. Probably by now you’ve listened to the above clip. Go to YouTube.com and you will find you can create a concert for he has at least 22 videos. Top this: he also writes most of his lyrics. Sounds good too. Go see him at KTAOS Solar Center on Sept 1. Go to KTAOS.com for tickets and more upcoming events!

Another intersting show is Michael Hearne’s 15th BIG BARN DANCE, yes, www.bigbarndance.com and/or www.michaelhearne.com

I hope this is the right Michael Hearne. There’ll be at least 24 groups on September 6,7,8 2007. (I just love You Tube for research and finding great music).

When you go KTAOS, you’ll also find there’s still good news and music for August too.

Just a note: Santa Fe and NM is famous for FILM: Here’s a FIlmfest that will catch your heart and soul. New Mexico’s International Wildllife Film Fest Santa Fe at the LENSIC on 9/28-29, Taos 9/21-22 at the TCA www.Riversandbirds.org

I hope you enjoy this and visit these artists both on the web and at their concerts. Support your musicans! Mary
