Monday….in the city?
Some enws about upcoming events in Santa Fe and Albuquerque:
On the Santa Fe Plaza, one might need to be a little daring: Monday night’s entertainment includes: Handsome Family: Haunting, primal and strangely heroic songs. If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, show up a little later, and Listen to the Santa Fe All-Stars: Country and blue grass with a RNR twist. Hey it’s free and if they are half as good as the band from last Thursday: you’ll be dancing in the Plaza.
So it’s a little quieter in Albuquerque this weeks, according to the Alibi, here’s their list:
Atomic Cantina — Prize Country · Loom (10 p.m.) · FREE
Blu, Pulse — DJ Jakob Jay · Hip-hop (9 p.m.)
Brickyard Pizza — Acoustic open mic hosted by Chris Dracup (9 p.m.-midnight) · FREE
Bumble Bee’s Baja Grill, Santa Fe — Jerry Becker Trio · Jazz (6-9 p.m.) · FREE
Burt’s Tiki Lounge — Geeks Who Drink · FREE
Hunab Hookah Lounge — Open Poetry Night (7 p.m.-midnight) · FREE · 18+
Launchpad — Jaimi Faux · Scarless · Good As Dead · Morning to Mercy
Marcello’s Chophouse — Open Piano Night (6-9 p.m.)
Martini Grille — Move Mondays with Native Soul DJs Beufie, Zaint, Solution, Zaid and Dave (9:30 p.m.-2 a.m.) · FREE
Nuts and Bolts — The Teardrops Blues Band (7 p.m.-midnight)
Scalo, Il Bar — Paul Salazar (5:30-7 p.m.)
Nuts and Bolts seems to have something a llittle different: The Teardrops Blues Band. I didn’t find anything when I googled.
If you plan it right you can visit a number of venues all on Monday night! More later.
