Labor Day Keeps getting better! Plus whoda think?
Now I love getting messages about events going on. Ingrid Jensen trumpet player fantastic will be coming to Santa Fe in September! More on this later. As I was looking at news, I was amazed that a 40 year old Mom may be going for gold. As a 55 year old, I am learning to swim and doing water aerobics sort of. I use noodles for some of the exercises and have moved to growing across the pool, less than half a lap, in water 4 feet or less. (I’m 5′1″. Just getting over my anxiety was a major step. All to heal a bum/strained knee.
So have you heard About Torres’ comeback? I think it’s wonderful. In my early 40’s I completed my BFA and then did my MFA. She’s going for the Olympics! To me this is totally amazing and is a wake up call to all of us. We may be getting older but we can turn our lives upside down and perhaps do what we previously considered impossible! So I invite you to get out your writing pad and make notes on what that outrageous idea might be. Imagine what could be accomplsihed if 2 MILLION women garnered up their energy and did those dreams! A major power surge. SO start writing! Let me know your ideas. Have fun. See the following clip.
