Just a reminder: Lots of fun events still happening from ABQ arts
Some say I talk too much, and it is true. I love all the resources that we have here in New Mexico. I even choose to vacation here! If you have never been to New Mexico, I heartily invite you. During the many months I’ve been writing here the ABQARTS weekly email has been a quick and easy way to review what is going on. This update gives an expanded view of the many cultural events that are happening. Better than the updates which I copy and publish here too, is the ABQARTS online magazine and the Collectors guide. Plus there is a blog. So if you like in depth discussion; great articles, beautiful pictures: just link on over….ABQARTS

Where is one of the best places to enjoy homebrew (Santa Fe NM) BEER? Enjoy entertainment? Santa Fe Brewing Co. Of course you can go to previous blogs too see what’s happening there. Also remember they have great food, ample serving sizes, and all at reasonable prices. Another great attribute is they are a major supporter of local and Southwest musicans and often promote great music at multiple venues in town.
Last night when Pat and I went out there were large crowds at many restaurants. We ended up at one of her favorites TORTILLA FLATS! The portions of hot and beautiful NM food were so huge that she’ll have 2 meals from my leftovers, and W will have a hearty lunch from hers!
If you are new to Santa Fe Tortilla Flats is on Cerrillos Rd at Celio and Rufina Circle. Taco Bell is on the other edge of that corner and Walmart is about a block away. It for Santa Fe is on one of the main drags. If you didn’t know to look for it, you might spend all your time here at the more expensive places. It’s recently be re-modelled and has a new ambiance (I prefer the old stlye better) but the bottom-line is the food is good and for $20 you can have enough food for three people or more. Now remember, Pat still feels it’s one of the BEST restaurants in town! ANd going by the packed house last night she knows where the locals love to go.
