So here’s the update:
Albuquerque ISOTOPES STADIUM will have fireworks. There’ll be a parade with Retired Workers and Organized Labor in Rio Rancho! (Good old fashioned fun, respect, and advertising for LABOR! We need more unions around here.
There’s hiking and a special Sunrise marathon.
State parks are having special celebrations all over the state. (The casinos will be busy and have entertainment)
And Santa Fe southern will have special 4th of July trainrides.
Students at NMT will have a free barbeque to the first 100 undergrads and 50 grad students. Plus New Mexico bands will give concerts. Music, fun, food sounds like a great idea.
Plenty of fireworks. My neighbors are already practicising. Have A Happy 4th of July Americans one and all!
