How many people were going to party tonight?

Hey folks it was Halloween. I did not get time to buy my candy, I did eat at least 1/2 dozen cookies today (not my normal routine), I had to work, and most people I polled were not partying tonight. Common excuse: I have to get up early tomorrow. People of all ages seemed old.

However, I joined some of the staff and worked in a multi-layered albeit hot costume called night sky. People laughed and enjoyed it, though it was a little too abstract for most folks, even here in Santa Fe. Now after checking out some spots online, it’s late and I do need to get up early tomorrow morning. I even missed the $1 pumpkin sale at work.

My roommate moved out today on time! She didn’t totally clean-up, but I have few complaints. I rushed tonight to Craig’s list and posted a new ad. Visit www.craigslist.org often for great stuff. Next week I’ll place an ad in a local paper, since it’s been since the 17th since I placed my first ad. Finding the right roommate sometimes is tough. So send all your positive energy and prayers to my finding someone who’ll stay awhile.

Before I came to write tonight, I checked out 2 blogs to see what was going on:
www-about-seattlewa.com and www.about-lousivilleky.com

I like checking out the lousiville site since it isn’t in most people’s mind. Yet there is always an interesting article there. Tonight it is about a program to make LOUISVILLE more environmentally friendly. If you want an affordable place to vacation and if you love music, check out LOUISVILLE KY.

I also am azed by the research on Seattle Wa’s site. Sure it’s a big city, but there were so many different activies listed. Clue: see the types of events, and you may have several ideas for events in a smaller venue. Think about it!

On the radio today, I heard about a denist who is paying $1.00 a pound and the money raised will go to American soldiers in IRAQ.

Did you know that Halloween is the second biggest American holiday reaping a whopping 500 billion a year!?! So why weren’t more people partying. Our local Party City was torn to shreds, with very little left: mostly wrappers on Tuesday night, a banker friend told me today. That’s a bi store too. Local Christian groups were having Harvest celebrations and games around town tonight. Who’s afraid of a few goblins? They’ll get really upset when they learn that CELTIC culture also were having Harvest celebrations on Hallow’s eve and it went on for several days.

I enjoy the kids dressing up and getting candy and grown up Halloween parties too. It is part of American culture and has some grand old tales! Must we be so-o-o- serious?

Ah, the bewitching hour. Best that I cool down and rush off to bed. More soon about November. Go to www.exploringastrology.com to check out NOvember. Soon everyone will return to their faith, and have so much to pray for. Peace anyone? do you know that most US Presidents regularly use astrologers for advice? Enjoy and turn your clocks back this Saturday night! BOO!
