There is a newly re-promoted ook by Eckhart Tolle, “A New Earth, AWAKENING TO YOUR LIFE”S PURPOSE. Oprah is talking about it. There is a course online. I started the book this morning, and it looks as if it’ll be great.
“The Buddha is said to have given a silent sermon,once during which he held up a flower and gazed at it. After awhile one of those present, a monk called Mahakasyapa, began to smile. He has said to be the only one who understood the sermon.” Eckhart Tolle, A new Earth, 2005.

If I were being more pure, I’d shut up. Flowers, Eckhart explains may have been one of the first things man…woman…responded too that didn’t relate to survival, they could awaken his consciousness. Read on and you’ll be surprized. Review the numerous times that the images of flowers and birds are used in religious texts.
Imagine if a bloom that may last only hours or for a few days can awaken our spirit, what we might envelope opening to ourselves, our consciousness, our faith, and that beyond ourselves.
(In fact, I presume we are all one within spirit). Come and explore this text in the comfort of your beliefs, and I suspect that you will discover many passages that resonate with your beliefs. For now, gaze into the heart of these flowers offered to you here.
