Great read… first an update for my garden: Thought I’d have a great crop, but grasshoppers and theri flying comrades are eating my tomatoes. I’m hoping a few will get a chance to turn red. They are juicy and good tasting. Several other plants are in a race to beat fall weather. They are just beginning to create little babies. The squash have the same idea. Perhaps I enjoy too much where they are now without pressuring produce more now! I do love the garden and the wonderful energy all these plants provide by being what they are now.

Chuck however is a pro… read on.

More on Sustainability from the Small Plot garden

Mid August, 2008
Orland California 95963

The news keeps piling up about “recession” and rising Food Costs.
Example the Goshen News, Goshen, Indiana Article.

Based on my simple survey, our local Fresh Food cost
have edged a bit, but definitely not sending our Population
into a state of Malnutrition.

I did chuckle about a ludicrous report regarding
Poor University Students standing in line at the Local FOOD BANK,
most chatting on Cell phones…

Get real youngsters!
Use your energy and grow a Community Garden,
instead of text messaging all day.

Other articles by the Talking Head Media seem to indicate another
crisis for the Populace.

There are more crucial price increases than food,
and if most would be willing
to forgo senseless activities that SUCK income,
instead spend very little money
and a bit of Health Time “Growing some Food”,
There are more crucial price increases than food,
and if most would be willing
to forgo senseless activities that SUCK income,
instead spend very little money
and a bit of Health Time “Growing some Food”,
they would not only feel better,
eat better and cheaper and have surplus
to sell or give away.

What are Cable and satellite cost compared to Food Increases ?
Cable and Satellite seem to be rising 5-7% with no end in
sight according to the
New York Times, today
July’s report from the USDA shows Food with a 12 month rise of
4.2%, of course the more processed the food the higher the Rise…
wonder why?

What does all this have to do with Growing Tomatoes for Health and Wealth?

We have two small plots this year, one 25o square feet,
the other 300 square feet.
The Tomato Patch as recorded on Video has been
providing us with all we need,
plus Eggplant and earlier, red onions a 6 month
supply from 24 plants, and Broccoli
early spring for us and our neighbors

Out total expenses to date have been $147.00

Total cash Income $ $320.00
Donated Produce to Senior Center $175.00 (Market Value)
Value of Food consumed $196.00 based on weekly Market value.

Of course many will point to Time Spent has a Value.
You bet it does!

I have conducted INCOME GENERATING
seminars while Pruning,
Weeding and Irrigating.

And the exercise gained, at no Gym or Equipment costs,
has substantially added to my Overall Wellness.

But even forgetting those factors, My “time Card” shows about
8 hours a week in the garden since February..

My math comes up with:
192 hours
Earnings: $691
Expenses: $147
Net $ 544 Profit
or a little over $2.83 hour NET Profit ( so far)

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH BENEFITS….
PRICELESS

FTC goes bananas: Help fight now.

This week the FTC, Federal Trade Commission the Big Brother Watching US group, made one person shut down his site because he included information on used of herbs. Now he is sueing them for denying his first amendment freddom of speech. (Bravo!)

As a writer, I believe that we need to make a stand for free speech. Please read on….

29 Healing Herbs: Some of my favorites.
This could be illegal….watch out!!!
Before I write about 29 of my favorite HEALING herbs, if you are someone who know about the FTC case against the Internet Marketer, see if his lawyer would like others to join the case to make a class action suit.

I googled healing herbs and came up with 827,000 listings. So then I googled healing herbs us sites and got about 425,000 for us sites.

The guy who got hit was actually referring to US Federal Publications, available to anyone about HEALIBG HERBS. So I ask you, why does the US government want to prevent Americans from learning about docuements that they have previously approved for publication about health and Herbs?

I won’t go into that discussion now. A couple of thousand years ago, a knowledgeable Jewish man proclaimed, “Heal Yourself!” His name was Jesus and it might be curious to see how often he told us to do that. Check the Bible.

Although he was referring to the power of the holy spirit or God to heal us, if you also check the Bible, you could probably find many references to herbs that were used for healing. Your government, if you are a US citizen, doesn’t want you to print or publish this information.

Seems like censorship to me.

So here is your list of my favorite 29 healing herbs.

1) Peppermint
2) Astragalus
3) Holy Basil
4) Golednseal
5) Oregano
6) Plaintain
7) Comfrey
8) Red Clover
9) Marigold
10) Onion
11) Garlic
12) Cayenne Pepper
13) Fennel
14) Ginger
15) Milk Thistle
16) Tumeric
17) Nettles
18) rooibus
19) celery seed
20) cats claw
21) calendula
22) aloe
23) Dandelion
24) oat straw
25) catnip
26) yarrow
27) chickweed
28) thyme
29) maca

Yes they are all healing herbs. Yes it would be best to consult herbalists, naturpathic doctors, some of the 425,000 websites, and books to learn more about these fairly common herbs. Most of these may be found in your backyard, or kitchen cupboard. All but a few can be found and are commonly grown in North America.

http://www.squidoo.com/healherbs

I am using this as an example. If I were to make claims about their use, suggest what they could do, or apparently publish a reference sheet from where I got this information the FTC could make a lot of threats to me, possibly levy fines, and in some states in the USA lock me up (in prison).

Please share this information, and I think if all internet marketers rallied to support freedom of speech or the guy who got shut down, we could have a real good case.

When we don’t make a stand, it’s just that much easier for us to lose what we think is ours.
29: Yep they can all be used for healing many discomforts. Add your thoughts please.

Obama: Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing? Plus lobby your SUPER Delegates

Photography by Mary MacIntyre

“It seems to be a rule of wisdom never to rely on memory alone…but to bring the past for judgment into thousand-eyed present, and live ever in the light of a new day.”

— Ralph Waldo Emerson

My mother was an independent, well, probably still is. I chose to be a democrat so I could vote in the primaries. Now I often feel like a gossiper. I tend to vote for someone who has a proven record, and shown common sense. I also tend to vote for who have earned their power. I know that being on certain committess will help me have an in road to having an ear to listen to my concerns later.

I believe in being able to know who I am voting for, and who they are. I first became impressed by Richardson, when he wrote me a letter voicing his honest opinion about an issue we disagreed on. I repspected his honesty. Communication can start there.

Long ago, when I thought voting for the best of 2 evils was not a choice, a feminist politico came to a woman’s group I belonged to and suggested we vote for Carter. I had been ready to vote for Ford. He wasn’t doing a bad job, and back then parties did not matter much to me. She created a decent case for Carter, and he had a better outlook on women and the environment.

I think she realized that we weren’t convinced to vote, so she threw in a local political issue about protecting some trees on a nearby mountain range. We all went to vote, and I voted for Carter. A few years later, I voted for a young congressman from Maine because he promised to protect our right to choose (he is a Republican). Women and women’s votes matter.

As I have said before I am for Clinton. So I have reading a lot about Obama. Here’s a few things I have learned: He’s getting a lot more backing from BIG CORPORATE businesses. Try Wall Street for one. He’s not in a rush to get out of IRAQ. His health plan does not include ADULTS. (Do you know that there are millions more working mothers and other women who can NOT AFFORD insurance, and by the way women usally still get paid less) That progressives have a long list of concerns for the senator to work on…

So this clean speaking, sweet man who stands for change is also hiring people like Tom Daschle, a former very big and deep politco to lobby superdelegates for him? Since he’s not telling me who he is, and how he’s connected, and his voting record shows how he’ll vote as he pleases. I wonder what else he is hiding?

I hate to vote for candidates who are pretending to be someone they are not. I say, man, you are a WOLF in sheeps clothing who has very sharp teeth. America, beware.

PS: You too can lobby your superdelegates. They are all the democrat govenors. They are the heads of the democrat party, and they are members of congress. Maybe someone will listen to your views!

Obama or McCain? Comment please.

VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON…he ain’t speaking for me…

Govenor Bill Richardson has grown a beard! What do you do after the PRIMARIES?

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

Govenor Bill Richardson came home to NM and went right to work with the Legislature. I haven’t kept up with all the details but these guys and a few gals keep themselves extremely busy and have more work than they can be expected to complete in 30 days.

I saw a video interviewing the Govenor after the superbowl. He met up with Bill Clinton there. Govenor Richardson isn’t about to endorse anyone yet. However he has grown a beard. Looks a bit like a bandito, perhaps he just needs to catch himself for awhile after all the hard fast paced work he’s been up to. The interview is not easily found on You Tube yet.

This is what is called a slow news day. A co-worker came to me at work tonight to point out that I had been quote in The New Mexican with my exit polls comments. AH only if he had asked me for my url…hmmmm….

“Because she’s the most experienced and the most intelligent.” ~Clinton voter Louis R. Garcia, 72

“He’s the leader we need right now, with a new vision.” ~Obama voter Linda Tausan, 64

“Because she’s a woman. She’s more forthright than Obama. He’s not talking about his voting record. He went to the Senate to do certain things, but he started being just another politician. People are bashing Hillary because of Bill Clinton, but she’s not Bill Clinton.” ~Clinton voter Mary MacIntyre, 55

“I was on the fence, but I heard him speak (at Santa Fe Community College) and was totally inspired. He gives us hope and meaning.” ~Obama voter Eleanor Leighton, retired

“I feel she has the most experience and knowledge. And having Bill as a husband has a lot to do with it. I loved it when he was president.” ~Clinton voter John Lujan, 36, state employee

“He represents the future. (Clinton) represents the past. If Hillary wins, I’d vote for John McCain instead of her.” ~Obama voter Rosemary Thompson, 54, real estate sales

“She has a better grasp on the economy. To me that’s the most important.” ~Clinton voter Leo Hunt, 60, state employee

“I like everything he says. I didn’t like the things Bill Clinton has been saying. But if Hillary wins, I’ll work for any Democrat.” ~Obama voter Nancy Malmouth, 69, retired

“It’s about time we get a woman in there.” ~Clinton voter Veronica Encinias, 42, homemaker

“He’s a fresh, new and different. He’s not a politician politician, not embedded in politics.” ~Obama voter Charlotte Golin, 75, artist

“Her experience is extremely impressive. She’s the most knowledgeable on the issues.” ~Clinton voter Michael Olguin, former House majority leader

“He seems very real and in touch with common people.” ~Obama voter Colleen Guengerich, 37, marketing and lobbying for New Mexico Tech

“I just feel more confident in her.” ~Clinton voter Michael Connolly, 54, small business owner

“I think he’ll unite the country. And he’ll get us out of the war faster than anyone else.” ~Obama voter Tom Ross, 49, artist and gallery owner

“He’s shown the same kind of animosity in his politics. He doesn’t walk his talk completely.” ~Clinton voter Frank Walker, 60, landscaper and astrologer

“Because I’m for change.” (One of her two sons added, ” ‘Cause he’s chill!”) ~Obama voter Kathy McKennan, 41, homemaker

“He’s the greatest hope this country has ever seen, at least since Thomas Jefferson.” ~Obama voter Marissa Del Rio, 52, real estate sales

“We support Hillary Clinton. She’s more experienced. You can’t just get someone whose not experienced and put them in.” ~Clinton voters Ernest and Dolores Vigil, 67 and 66

“I would like to see him have a shot about making a difference up there.” ~Obama voter Michael Costello, 50, print maker

“I think she’s best qualified. Experience counts a lot.” ~Clinton voter Art Garcia, 75, retired school principal

“I really have a good feeling about him. I trust what he’s saying about getting us out of the war.” ~Obama voter Shama Beach, 76, storyteller

“I think she’s the best of what I thought weren’t very good choices.” ~Clinton voter Mary Clayton, 73, retired librarian

“He’s awesome. He’s not politics as usual.” ~Obama voter Brian Arthur, 39, carpenter

“I think the hard decision is who can beat the Republicans, and that’s one of the reasons I did vote for Obama.” ~Obama voter Emily Kaltenbach, 32, works for aging and long-term services agency

“Because I think she’s the best.” ~Clinton voter Richard Mares, 69, real estate agent

“I think he can motivate the population to get together and make changes.” ~Obama voter Anne Coller, 55, housewife

“I’ve read his books and I know what he’s for, and I like him.” ~Obama voter Beverly Katz, 84

“Boy am I ready for change.” ~Obama voter Susan Cort, 49, Human Resources manager

“I think Hillary Clinton is a polarizing figure, and that’s not what the country needs.” ~Obama voter Tom Tiegler, 43, real estate investor

“I would not be disappointed to see either one.” ~Clinton voter Lynn Clark, 65

Happiness Setpoint? (and yeah Richardson dropped out)

img_2879ab.jpg

img_2960a.jpg

Here’s just a quick fun update and I may return soon with other interviews. I heard Marci talk on the radio a few days ago about happiness. The interview on ksfr.org with Diego Mulligan had some more depth and hit on more topics. See if you can find his podcast there. However,
this interview is available now here and you may find some good points. One of her sumary points is: if you are going to set a new years resolution: set an intention for happiness…oe increasing the happiness setpoint. Why? Happiness for no good reason has multiple positive side effects. Listen to learn more.

from the email:

Mary,

As promised the other day, I’m very excited to let you
know that I’ve posted an interview with Marci Shimoff
that I’d love for you to hear.

http://www.wealthbeyondreason.com/marci.html

Of course Marci was in “The Secret” (assuming you’ve
seen that) and is best known for being the catalyst
behind the “Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul” book,
as well as many others.

Her new book is “Happy for No Reason.” As I write this,
she’s just a few hours away from being on the Today Show!

But where they’ll only give her about 6 minutes,
I gave her 25 minutes to share some of her insight
into happiness and more specifically
how happiness relates directly to the Law of Attraction.

There was a time when a topic like “happiness” would
have probably not inspired me to invest my time into
listening to an interview on the subject…but this is
WAY different than what you probably expect.

There is an entire physiological SCIENCE around happiness
and Marci has researched this more deeply than anyone I’ve
ever met, and I’ve learned a lot from reading the book.

I know you’re going to learn something from the interview,
so I invite you to go give it a listen.

Her book is released today and she has an amazing promotion
going on, part of which is over $3000.00 worth of products
that will be yours if you purchase the book during the
promotional period. One of those items is an enhanced
version of our Wealth Beyond Reason Starter Pack.

If you’re not familiar with Marci, I know you’ll enjoy
meeting her through this interview:

http://www.wealthbeyondreason.com/marci.html

To your happiness!

Bob

Richarson gave up, and so now we can focus on 2 forerunners in each party. Sad but true. Do add to the upsurge of voters getting out to vote! Go to caucuses and participate. If you want a voice in the leadership of this country, the first step is to vote.

A dear friend and internet marketer had a serious upset last week. The California storms left him without power, phone, etc services. His name is CHUCK BARTOK. At the same time a hacker broke into his system and raided his server plus more! Within a few hours he was in action having been using a neighbors computer…he has lost a lot of data but he had a smart dude work hard to reconstruct his system. So click on Chuck Bartok (sidebar) and sign up if you want. i could show you a thousand images, or just one: it doesn’t really matter if you can….

Take a walk with me, down dirt laaanes and off in the hills
Let me introduce to you life here
perhaps far from where you think,
yet full of humanity sharing another breathe

Take a walk with me and sit among the trees
and spiral upwards to the finger tops swaying in the wind
light branches stretching b eyond the seed
in sight.

Stroll down the hills over to where plains and range
stretch between horizons
and lizards live free to run or freeze

Lay upon the earth
looking into clouds feeling sweet rain gathering
feel the hard baked earht supporting you back
rocking you gently
see the hawk dive into oblivion.

The sage rustles in your head.

Richardson Drops Out
Marisa Demarco [ Wed Jan 9 2008 5:35 PM ]

Richardson for … VP? Richardson announced minutes ago that he’s dropping out of the presidential race. It’s a surprise to all but “two people close to the governor.” Just this morning, he was talking about how it was “ on to the West.”

Word is he’ll throw his support behind Obama (but don’t quote me on that). That’s a stunner, too, as he was on President Bill Clinton’s Cabinet.

I was looking for something different to blog about from the ALIBI. I haven’t foudn what I was looking for, and if this part of the blog is true, it’s disapointing. It does seem that his race for the Presidency seems precarious. The numbers have been low. But why should two states results determine a race? Well it’s partly money from the rumors I heard, and well quite frankly he didn’t shine so well in the debates. Still there are many more states.

A race is more exciting with more players.

This email caught my eye. So I let it be a starting point for this blog.
Perspectives can change the way we experience our world. One interviewer recently said that humans are odd because we seem to wear velcro for negativity, and don’t much pay attention to all the positivie around us. I wish I coud also remember the John Lennon about how to open our imagination and see the world new again, but you could go to ksfr.org and look up Monday’s podcast by Diego Mulligan to hear the whole interview.

The email: Dear Mary,

I hope that 2008 is treating you well so far …
Or that YOU are treating 2008 well so far!

I want to introduce you to a fellow from my neck
of the woods named Harold Cameron. He’s big into
positivity. Please take a look at his blog and read
a few of his posts. Good stuff!

Harold wants to institute in a VERY big way what
he calls the “Be Positive Do Something Positive
Day”.

Now, usually I’m not one to get into things like
this. In this case, though, I’d like to help
Harold. He’s not doing this as some sort of
publicity stunt, nor is he selling anything
to promote it. As far as I know, he isn’t asking
for a darned thing.

I discovered Harold because he reviewed a few
books I publish on his web site. When I told
him about my affiliate program and that he should
participate in it, he stated that he merely
informs people about what is good and isn’t really
looking to make money from it.

While I disagree with that point of view, I am
compelled to respect him for it. Far too often,
I see people promoting this and that - from
books to wristbands - with the facade of
doing good, but with the ogre of profit-
mongering lurking beneath.

As far as I can tell, not so with Harold.

If this appeals to you, please contact Harold
and ask him what you can do to make the
Be Positive Day a reality.

If anything else, you’ll find yourself a little
more upbeat if you visit Harold’s web site. And
there is always the chance that that can grow
into something more.

Please let me know if I can be of service to you.
Until next time, I wish you and yours the
BEST of EVERYTHING.

Have fun… Tony M.

The gray picture above is a great way to talk about seeing and experiecing differently. At first I was intrigued by the fence. Then the closeup and abstraction of the fence. Then I transported to being a kid looking through the crack to see what was beyond. By Mary MacIntyre.

Today the sun stayed up longer. The shadows were softer. The afternoon waited b efore night chill descended. I enjoyed the light reflecting, bouncing : perhaps light dances? I stopped to notice. I am glad: spring is almost here! I entered my kitchen happy and hungry.

A quote on Christmas eve from a friend, “Why get upset about this, you’re (we’re) alive aren’t we?

Since we could live to be 89 years old, and discover we were going to die tomorrow, suddenly life would be too short, even if we were ready to go. Hence, my title don’t wait for BE POSITIVE DAY, find your bliss right now today. There’s really no excuse we choose which feelings to amplify. I used to tell my clients go ahead be depressed. Take 15 minutes a day and dedicate it to being depressed. Just don’t hurt yourself. See how long you can do it. After the shocked expressions about what I said, I confessed: I tried it. After 10 minutes I was bored and went off to do something else. Some tried it and became aware, that they could choose a response to those feelings. So don’t think about being HAPPY OK?

Be positive today, even if for 10 minutes. See how it feels. Then if you are warmed up, try 100 gratitudes and appreciations. For each good thing that happens, thank God.

If you get any satisifaction: repeat for at least 10 days.

The Publisher mentioned above sends great e-mails and sells grand books. Visit him.

On a Quest? Find the Master Key within! via Chuck Bartok

“>The Master Key

Press now for details and fun.

MULTI-TASKING and Achievement.

As I write, I am listening to Chuck Bartok talking about CHARLES HAANEL’s The Master Key System. This book was wriiten in 1912 and was a correspondence course in 26 sections. Here was an author who had a great business and unique perspective on life.

This is a serious course that if you practise you can expand your success and understanding.

MARKETING INSIGHT: GOOD STUFF…
(Do you have fantastic mentors?)

Chuck is an amazing marketer who has been a fine mentor for me for the last year. His generous nature nutures many of the people he connects with. Now he captures some of his enthusiasm in a most charming dialogue as he reads from this poetically powerful reading of Charles Haanel’s Master Key System. I have had the book, ebook style for a year, but sometimes as you know, I just didn’t make time to really study it.

TRY SOMETHING NEW and reap the rewards….

Now Chuck has created a series of audio downloads (great for your IPODS). So? You say? My inspiration comes from that he took the time to teach and compile these files. Then he edited and organized them. The story goes on, but if you managed to do all the work and then created a marketing program plus: simply put this is a great achievement! I congratulate him and I am impressed by his steadfastness!

DID YOUR PARENTS EVER READ YOU BEDTIME STORIES? USE THOSE FEELINGS to CREATE POWERFULL RESULTS.

Listening to Chuck is like relaxing with an old friend who is willing to read to you. His voice is magical and soothing. So while I work I can absorb the power of this text.

NOW IS YOUR TIME to continue your journey.

As it is the beginning of the year and many seek to improve themselves and begin again upon their journey, Chuck provides an excellent platform with tremendous support your new ventures. So I present to you Chuck Bartok…

SANTA FE: SEEKERS GATHER TO and CB is not from SF NM:

One never fails to be surprized by all the seekers who stroll through New Mexican cities, town, and villages. Many fall in love with the mystical atmosphere of our state. Like minds and like people gather to explore the deepest parts of their souls. Often those who are searching for their enlightenment learn to go within to find their truths. So without leaving home you too can find great nourishment by listening to these readings.

The question becomes: is it the text that holds power, or the wonder of listening to fine words? Ah, ye know, it’s a bit of both!

Add to your to do list: Great enjoyment. Appreciation and gratitude for those giving you wonderful gifts by their being. Reach out and share your wonderful self too! Take time to read, think, and write. (Join us here by writing for 451Press!) remember too fine food.

The cold of the winter’s night does not seem so harsh or worrisome after a warm reading by Chuck Bartok. Ummmm.

Think I am in the holiday spirit? Hardly. My brain is juggling too many things, and working out ideas for my internet businesses. However, the holidays are creeping up on us. So, I can at least post cheery pics from my last winter’s celebration of my first Christmas digitized. Working PT in retail tugs my bah humbug moods. I need to prepare myself for thesedays and pamper myself in the meantime.

The first thing to do when anticipation isn’t part of the pysche is to return to gratefulnes. I am glad I have work. I am glad that the homeless shelter was able to purchase 2 portable classrooms from the city for $2 each to house homeless families and men rhis winter. Plus they have much bigger plans. I am glad that I had 2 electric oil heaters that a neighbor could use for her heating problems. I am glad that her daughter has improved her reading by 35% in 3 months, attributed to books I gave her. (I thought she’d have been a great reader, something so simple that cost me nothing, making a big difference, cool.) I am glad for freedom to write! I am glad that even on a shoestring budget, I can give.

I give thanks to all my readers. I give thanks for all you who give generously. I give thanks for all you whom work. Plus I give thanks to 451 Press for this great program. (So come join us and blog!)

Also go to New Mexico Magazine, Sunset west, or your favorite magazine to get some sumptious recipes. This should adjust most people’s mood.

In one week, head to any plaza in New Mexico, and a warm and glowing dance of lights should glorify all. Last year, after thanksgiving, I ran into a Jewish friend/customer at the Plaza in Santa Fe. I was doing some photo work and wandered downtown to the plaza because I heard music. A beautiful sculpture an abstracted minorrah (sp?) had been set up and though the party was ending, we met, celebrated, talked, and enjoyed the lights, music, and our joy at having the support and freedom to have the sculpture safely erected in our plaza for the holidays. Discrimination often flairs up even here in Santa Fe NM. I found a few shots shown above from that day. SHARING JOY AND COMPASSION fills the holidays with delight.

Well I’ve wandered from the original thought about blogging for money. I invite you my readers to give 20 ideas via comments about blogging for money. Leave a url and I’ll make a post about them.

Also please read previous blogs that include many worthwhile fundraisers happening here in NM.

Anyone have favorite NM holiday stories? Any Vets coming home from IRAQ? I’ll write about your stories.

So here you go, some holiday stories which I’ll continue throughout the season. Send me some more too! (I did not find any videos on You Tube about NM Jewish Holidays…send some!)

Sometimes a great friend makes all the difference. Hats up to Chuck Bartok!

As most of you know, I am a blogger and a photographer. Like many I am juggling many jobs and wearing a few more hats. Ideally I want to create enough income to give up one part time job and work independently full time. I believe, indirectly this will also contribute to sustainable living. I will drive less (saving gas and keeping my old paid for car on the road longer). I will make more art. My health expenses will decrease due to less stress. I will need to buy less. Part of this is sweet dreaming.

I want to earn more. It’d be nice to afford a hybrid, or a diesel fueled car that can use bio-diesel. I love to shop at thrift stores where I save money and my money goes to support good causes. Still I would be even happier as I improve my living. (oops inserted the note from Chuck before the story! Read on to make sense of it)

This may seem odd, my including a personal email. However, Chuck would love hearing from you too! If you can use a mentor, wish to have ways to keep your mind and mood up and improving (sign up for his podcasts or newsletters)…this man is for real (and still a marketer).

Not long ago, I received an email from www.simpletruths.com

They sent a video with the following story: short version: guy hears a story about letting friends, or important people in your life, know that they have made a difference in your life. So guy goes and writes a letter to his 8th grade teacher. She’s now old in her 80’s, living alone and most of her family and friends have died. (The video is better) She writes back thanking him for the letter because he’s the first student to have ever written her!

So I send the video and a small note to my friends list. I remind them that they have each made a difference in my life (on so many occassions!). I get a reply back, from someone I rarely see and still love about how that note made a special difference to her on “that” day.

Life is short, I suggest you do something similar too. Now this morning I received an e-mail from another friend who has been helping me learn internet marketing. I’ve been busy oh so busy! and haven’t been able to do a lot on my businesses online. He had a great idea for me, which expanded what I had been thinking about! My heart filled with joy at his consideration!
This guy, Chuck Bartok, is far busier than I! Here are a few links to see what he is about.

Chuck’s note above.

All this reminds me that as the weather gets colder, days darker, and holidays roll round: many people feel stressed, somewhat blue, and may need a few mental boosts/pick me ups. One thing I do is have several sources of positive thinking/well being/spiritual news sources, newsletters, etc. Here’s one worth reading: Published monthly for The Science of Being Well Network

She’s great, writes once or twice a month and offers a lot more than I can talk about now.
