Go for some big names: Indian music by New Mexican Native Americans. Saturday night June 30th San Felipes CASINO Hollywood. Robert Mirabel, Native Roots, Gary Farmer and the Troublemakers. I just wanted to see which ads might come up this time. I am talking about Native American local musicians, Indian music. (Last blog brought up a very odd response: go figure).

Well I searched some for inforamtion on Cathy McGill and Avatar (local artists playing at Music on the hill free Santa Fe Series. Bring a picnic supper or buy sandwiches there. I found lots of references to Ms McGill playing around NM but not reference to how to find her bio, music, etc. So it’s suppose to be jazz, rhythym and Blues, and Soul. I looked on the alibi.com event page and on June 27 there is so much music going on in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, you could keep going from one event to another (a big party night in both cities) and it’s only Wednesday. I have to work that night: darn. But anyone who wants some early music and can get up early for work: you have plenty of options this Wednesday.
