Albuquerque Women Celebrate! Dance! Sing!

Latest news: see this last video: Homeless Women = 25% of Albuquerque’s homeless people. Now people are finally creating a program to work with these women to re-build their lives. This is exciting news as the program is far more than just a shelter. See the video and contact the organization. If you have a way to help, contact. If you are from another town or state, contact them for ideas so you can help people in your community. Also find out what skills these women are learning and perhaps you could hire some people in your business. You can think small too: perhaps you could use a part time cleaning person, or someone to offer daycare services for your staff, or a PT clerk for filing, taking care of the mail, or be a courier. Need someone to run your errands? Be creative. Hire someone to wash cars on the car lot, or deliver lunches. You might be able to help someone in need get the help to start out. Bag grocieries, cashier? Thank you for helping.

Originally I thought to do a few short bios about great women in Albuquerque, I can come back to that theme again. Let me know what you think about these topics. Also suggest themes you’d llike to read more about.
